Bookings

Cancellations or Rescheduling
Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with at least 24 hours notice prior to the scheduled shoot time will be done at no extra charge. A Late Change Fee of 50% will be made for Cancellations or rescheduling requests made with less than 24 hours notice.
A photographer may suggest available times for a rescheduled shoot; however, MediaTours’ booking system operates on a first-come, first-served basis, and time slots may be booked by other clients before a decision is made.
For example: if a property needs to be rescheduled and the Client messages the photographer asking for available times, the photographer may suggest options that appear available at that moment. Those times may be taken by other bookings before the Client confirms, so availability is not guaranteed.
To secure a time, the Client should confirm or update the booking directly through the MediaTours portal as soon as possible. Bookings made via the portal are the only way to guarantee a time slot is reserved straight away.
MediaTours is not responsible if a suggested times are no longer available when the Client responds.
No-Shows
If at the scheduled time the property is not prepared or cannot be accessed or the shoot cannot proceed for any reason within the Clients control then the booking will be treated as a No-Show and a No-Show Fee of 100% will be made.
Weather
Weather conditions may affect the quality and safety of a shoot. MediaTours and the Client are expected to work together to determine whether a shoot should proceed due to weather.
The Client is responsible for monitoring weather conditions at the property location and notifying MediaTours as soon as possible if the conditions are unsuitable.
MediaTours may also monitor forecasts (e.g. MetService) and contact the Client if conditions appear likely to affect the shoot. Forecasts may not reflect actual conditions at the property.
If either the Client or MediaTours believe the weather conditions are marginal then they must make every effort to communicate and agree a decision.
If no decision to postpone is communicated and the MediaTours team attends the property but the shoot cannot proceed due to weather, a Late Change Fee of 50% of the booking value will apply.
If weather conditions change after the shoot has commenced, MediaTours will complete as much of the shoot as possible. A return visit to complete remaining services may incur an additional fee.
MediaTours reserves the right to postpone or cancel a shoot if conditions are unsafe or unsuitable for achieving acceptable results.
